About Me/About this Blog
My name is Jenn! I started this blog as a means of staying in touch with family and friends while I accompanied my husband on an overseas assignment with the USMC. We spent our time in Post Soviet Europe – hence the name, Learning to Walk in Stilettos.
My husband and I are now living back in the US. I work full-time as a Registered Dietitian for DaVita Dialysis. I absolutely love being a Renal Dietitian. I see myself in this field for a very long time. I’m back in school working on my Master’s in Clinical Nutrition which I hope to finish in 2012.
Hubby and I are the proud parents of a 6-year-old Spaniel Mix named Max. He’s my bud.
In my spare time, which is most of my time, I enjoy knitting, spinning and reading. I also have a passion for geneology. I think it’s important for us to know where we come from. In the warmer months I enjoy geocaching. It’s a great way to get out on the weekends, have a little fun, learn a little about the area you are in and breath a little fresh air.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoy this blog.

Hey Jenn!
Love the BLOG. I don’t think I would ever know how to do that! I love the story about the man in the leaves….I wish you had gotten a picture of the nurse in stilettos. That is crazy. As a nurse, I couldn’t imagine that. She must not have a too fast paced nursing job. Maybe you could go back and ask her for a picture!
Talk to ya soon,
EM

Hey Jennifer! Shea “Parker” Cordell here. I’m glad to hear things are going well for you and that you’re leading quite the exciting life. I certainly missed you at the reunion. If you’re on Facebook, send me a message.
