Friendship never dies

Rekindled in an instant

There to light your path

Your Haiku describes the experience I had while working on the reunion w/ a couple girlfriends I had not been in contact with for decades. Rekindling w/ them was so familiar & warm. Yet, now that the reunion is over, you’re the one I’m in touch with. Interesting. I’m really glad we’re in touch. It feels good to meet a woman whom I respect and learn from (as I do with you) and know we have common roots.

Thanks Ruth! I can always count on you for pick me ups! I am so glad that you reached out to me and invited me to join the blogging world. This has been and continues to be an amazing experience. I’m glad that I’ve gotten to know you better and I’ve met some wonderful blog buddies and hope to continue to meet more.

I really admire the woman you’ve become. You inspire me to want to get out and do more (marathons, big sister, travel).

I’m also extremely jealous of your proximity to awesome food, shopping and good weather!
