The Letter Meme – part 2

Posted in Journal tagged , at 8:16 pm by Jenn

Time for a little fun in blog land….a letter meme.  The rules are as follows:

Leave a comment on this post, and you will be assigned a letter.  Write about ten things you love that begin with your assigned letter, and post it at your place. When people comment on your list, you give them a letter, and the chain continues on and on. (You can opt out of being assigned a letter, just say you don’t want to play – I still love comments)

I’m going to start with letter Z, randomly assigned by Zachary (wonder why he picked Z).  Ok, here goes…

1.  Zoo – The last time I went to the zoo was in Germany, The Frankfurt Zoo with my Mom and Dad.  Lions and Tigers and Bears – oh my.

2.  Zinnias – cute little flowers.  Can’t wait to have a garden again.

3.  Zeppelin – I don’t care who you are, if you grew up in the 70’s or 80’s you know at least one Zepplein tune –

4.  Zucchini – zucchini straws, zucchini bread, stuffed zucchini.  YUM.

5.  Zest – lemon zest, orange zest.  Both yummy.  I especially love orange zest in citrus cream sauce over a nice white fish.

6.  Z’s.  When I was a kid I hated taking naps.  Now it’s something I look forward too.  I love to catch a few Z’s on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

7.  Zoolander – LOL.

8.  Zebra – really pretty animals.  This picture taken on my visit to the Frankfurt Zoo.

9.  Zanzibar – really.  It’s a cool sock pattern by Cookie A, and it’s in my queue.

10.  Last but definitely not least  – ZCoil.  This ends my second week of wearing them and I can’t believe that it took me so long to get them.  My feet feel wonderful!  Last Saturday I went to the store to have my left sandal adjusted because it felt odd on my foot.  Adjustment made (no charge as promised) and now it feels wonderful.  My sister was with me.  She is a teacher and suffers from back and hip pain.  She was leery of the shoes because she thought they looked funny.  She tried on a few pairs and after walking around the store in them decided on a pair of the Sidewinder sandals.  She wore them to work this week and said that she was pain free.  Today was field day so she wore her regular shoes and said that she needed to take some medicine because she was having pain.  She’s going back to the store tomorrow to invest in another pair of ZCoils so that she can have a shoe that is appropriate to wear for those field days or days she doesn’t want to wear the sandals.  Another satisfied ZCoil customer in this family!

As promised, here are a few pictures in my ZCoil sandals.  These are my afterwork and weekend shoes…my play shoes.  Love them.
